Unlock eroticism that lasts as long as your marriage
It’s time to prioritize Erotic Depth in your partnership
Not being able to connect sexually with your beloved who you know you’re meant to be with shakes a person to their core.
You have said yes to the union and you have learned all the therapy speak for communicating without being abusive (good for you, that shit matters)
But instead of passionately ripping each other’s clothes off
Instead of feeling like the closest lovers alive and hours fly by and you’re so absorbed in each other that you didn’t notice
Instead of growing more love and trust every time you have sex
You try to please each other instead, staying on the surface level
Or avoid sex altogether
You can both feel it’s flat, but no one knows what to say about it.
You grow sad.
Then you grow bitter.
Finally you’re just afraid you’ll lose the relationship.
And you know if you could land this piece in your partnership
Forgiveness would come easier.
Creativity and play would flourish.
Love would grow stronger.
You start to wonder how long before one of you cheats, and of course there’s always porn to fill the gaps in your capacity to connect.
You want to make love and instead what comes out is how hurt you are that you can’t get past painful feelings enough to open your heart.
This is when life is begging you to get serious about your sex life.
To stop leaving it to moods and making excuses for why you’re not doing something about it when it’s clearly the linchpin of not just your relationship, but your life.
I make a bold statement:
Monogamy doesn’t thrive without the erotic at the center of your union.
You know it and I know it.
You know the pain of wanting to share something truly magical with your committed lover and feeling like it’s impossible.
If it worked to just talk about it, maybe one of you would be happy.
If it worked to just fuck the pain away, maybe the other one of you would be stoked.
But neither of those is it.
You need to be of full, devotional service to the erotic for monogamy to work.
And that’s where I’m guiding you together in The Erotic Monogamy Practice.
I’m going to walk with you as a couple into your sexual ecosystem in a way you may have never even considered was an option.
I’m going to guide you through inquiries that will root out your resentments and fears and give you frameworks to move toward more love and trust on the other side of knowing them together.
And if you show up earnestly and with a wish to open your heart at every turn…
You will build a foundation that erotic love can stand on for a lifetime.
A foundation that is flexible and strong enough to hold every season of life, including parenthood and grief.
Monogamy with the erotic current in place is the deepest union I know of.
It’s filled with opportunities to heal old wounds and generate joy, inner safety, aliveness and true pleasure.
Without erotic aliveness in your partnership, it can feel like one of the most inhumane prisons on earth. I’ve seen it carve many a good person into what they never thought they could or wanted to become until the relationship self-destructed.
The difference isn’t circumstance.
It’s not because someone’s partner is better than yours or they are better than you.
It’s their commitment to embodied love with one another.
This is the journey of The Erotic Monogamy Practice.
From a monogamous couple into true union.
We begin August 4th
I’ve been where you are…
Sex was easy. It was the fun part of life that I didn’t have to think or plan for. We’d show up, usually tipsy and just go buck wild.
But somewhere along the path to parenthood, building a homestead, entrepreneurial endeavors and the daily rhythms of life, this laissez-faire relationship that was fine for me as a maiden stopped being enough to satiate me.
And so I stopped desiring sex. I didn’t desire to stop desiring sex; it just happened.
We could say….
“Maybe it’s our hormones…”
“It’s just a busy season…”
“If you don’t want to, you shouldn’t!”
“The spark just goes out in long-term relationships…”
But for me, none of this is true, and I knew that I needed to consciously choose intimacy and sex.
You see I didn’t have the physical desire, but I did have the deeper desire for connected sex that nourished me physically and emotionally and touched my soul.
I wanted sex that brought me home to God. I knew sex had something special to offer me that was limitless and vulnerable and psychedelic.
I still do. And this is what I have cultivated and chosen since I began studying conscious sex 9 years ago.
It was slow going. It was a complete rewiring. And I wish I had more support in the beginning because I spent a few years thinking that I was broken because I was so numb.
